Our people

Michael is a holder of a Bsc Honours Construction Management degree obtained at UCT (2003) and a Master in Business Leadership degree obtained at UNISA (2014). Michael’s project planning experience covers a wide range of construction, civil engineering, electrical and power projects, spanning 17 years.

In the last 6 years, the majority of his assignments have been in forensic planning, defending and presenting delay analysis as well as being instructed to provide expert reports for adjudications and arbitrations.

His involvement with distressed projects, has been instrumental in the development of the skill in presenting and defending claims in the construction market for clients. He has advanced knowledge and experience in the latest forensic programming review techniques and has presented and argued ‘impacted’, ‘as built but for’ and time impact analyses.

He is fully knowledgeable with the majority of planning software and latest techniques particularly those contained in the Society of Construction Law Delay & Disruption Protocol.
